How guests sign up for texts

This is the contact step guests see when they book at book.teeandtimber.com/book. The same two checkboxes, with the same wording, appear when they sign a waiver at waiver.teeandtimber.com. On the booking page they sit directly beneath the mobile number field. Both are unchecked and optional: a guest can book, sign a waiver and visit without ticking either one, and ticking the first does not sign them up for the second.

This page is an illustration only: nothing can be submitted here. Guests opt in on the booking page or the waiver page.

Sign up by text

Guests can also sign up by texting START, YES or UNSTOP to 510-405-8303. They then get texts about their visit: booking confirmations, reminders and updates about their place in the Lucky Putt line. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.

Verbal sign-up at the venue

A guest at the front desk or on the phone may say yes to texts out loud. A staff member reads this script, word for word, and records the guest’s phone number, the staff member’s name, the time and the script version:

Can we text you about your visit from Tee & Timber? You'd get booking confirmations, reminders and updates about your place in line. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. It's not required to book, and you can reply STOP any time to stop, or HELP for help.

Saying yes is optional and is not required to book or visit. Verbal sign-up covers texts about the visit only, never offers.

Texting terms

See our SMS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts, or HELP for help.
